What cookies are. Cookies are small files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and software development kits. They can remember your choices, keep you signed in, secure a donation, or measure how the website is used.
Why we use them. Global Fund for Assistance Inc. (EIN 86-3361537), which operates the Global Fund of Palestine initiative, uses strictly necessary technologies to run and secure the website and to process donations you request. With your permission we also use functional and analytics technologies to remember your preferences and understand how pages and campaigns perform.
Consent basis. Where consent is required — for example in the European Union and European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other jurisdictions with similar rules — optional cookies are placed only after you enable the relevant category. Strictly necessary technologies operate on the basis of providing a service you have requested, and on our legitimate interest in securing the website. This page describes our technical practices; it is not a statement of legal certification or guaranteed compliance.
How to accept, refuse or withdraw. Use at any time to review each category, change a choice, reject all non-essential cookies, or withdraw consent previously given. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent: future optional tracking stops immediately and non-essential first-party cookies we can reach are removed. Continued browsing is never treated as consent.
Global Privacy Control. When your browser sends a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, we treat it as an opt-out of sale- or sharing-related advertising and tracking for that browser. The marketing category is then disabled and locked, and your opt-out status is displayed inside the preference centre. You do not need an account and we do not ask for extra personal information to honour it.
California privacy choices. Global Fund of Palestine does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If that ever changes, this page and the preference centre will be updated with the required opt-out mechanism before any such activity begins.
Third-party providers. Google Analytics (analytics, loaded only after consent), YouTube in no-cookie mode (embedded video, loaded only after you enable it), Stripe and PayPal (donation processing, on their own secure pages when you start a donation), Supabase (platform backend and sign-in) and Cloudflare (hosting, delivery and bot protection). No advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking technology (for example Meta Pixel or Google Ads) is currently installed on this website.
International transfers. Our hosting, backend, analytics and payment providers operate in the United States and other countries. Where personal information is transferred out of your region, providers rely on their own transfer safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
Consent records. When you make a choice we store a random consent identifier, your choices by category, the date and time, the banner and policy version, a coarse region indicator and whether an opt-out signal was detected. We do not store your name, account or IP address with that record. Retention is configured by the administrator and is subject to legal review.
When we ask again. We request consent again when this policy changes materially, when a category or provider is added, when the purpose of a technology changes, or when the configured consent lifetime expires.
