What donations may support

Donations are made directly to Global Fund for Assistance Inc.. Funds are not paid directly to campaign creators, anonymous individuals or unidentified intermediaries.

Designations

Choosing a fund or campaign records your preference. Global Fund for Assistance Inc. applies designations where it can legally and operationally honor them, but cannot guarantee that a donation will reach a specific individual, location or project. Where a designation cannot be honored, the donation is applied to a comparable charitable purpose.

Our fundraising model

• This website is not an open crowdfunding marketplace.
• Public users cannot independently create unrestricted campaigns.
• Every campaign must be reviewed and approved by Global Fund for Assistance Inc. before it can accept donations.
• Donors receive no ownership, profit, interest, repayment or financial return.
• Donations are deposited into Global Fund for Assistance Inc.'s verified bank account.
• Fundraisers and campaign creators cannot receive funds and cannot change the Stripe payout destination.
• Stripe is not used for peer-to-peer transfers, investments, lending, political contributions, raffles, sweepstakes or prizes.

Tax treatment

Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by applicable law. Donors should consult their tax advisers.
