Selecting a fund, program area, project or organization records a donor recommendation or designation preference. It is not a transfer directly to that organization or cause and is not a contractual guarantee that the recommendation will be followed. Global Fund for Assistance Inc. retains exclusive legal control and discretion over all contributed funds, subject to applicable law, charitable purposes, compliance requirements and the Donation Terms.
Not every restricted designation can automatically be fulfilled. The Donation Terms explain how designated contributions are handled under applicable charitable, sanctions, banking, compliance and operational requirements.

Global Fund of Palestine is a fiscally sponsored initiative of Global Fund for Assistance Inc., a U.S. tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 86-3361537).
Global Fund for Assistance Inc. receives contributions and retains exclusive legal control over the funds it receives. Any organization, fund or cause selected by a donor constitutes a donor recommendation or requested designation and is not the legal recipient of the contribution. Contributions are irrevocable and subject to our Donation Terms.
Administrative expenses are limited to a maximum of 1% of donations. The remaining 99% is designated for programs, project delivery, monitoring, safeguarding and accountable humanitarian impact.
Receipts and tax treatment
Charitable receipts identify the legal recipient as Global Fund for Assistance Inc. and may additionally identify the program/initiative as Global Fund of Palestine. Statements regarding tax deductibility apply to United States taxpayers; treatment outside the United States is not represented here. Optional platform support is an unrestricted contribution to Global Fund for Assistance Inc. that helps sustain technology, fundraising, payment processing, outreach and operations. It is recorded separately from any recommended charitable designation. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a contribution made through this donation flow.
